Lots and lots of time between postings...  That is what happens when your computer starts flipping out every time you load anything more intensive than Firefox.  Of course, the delay in my return was longer than anticipated because the next computer I purchased was possessed and possibly insane as well.  On any given day, a random program and/or website just wouldn't work...only to be just fine the next day.  After much consideration, I took the blasted thing back and suggested exorcism in rather strong language...and bought the computer I should have gotten in the first place.  It's taken me a while to get all my content and everything else in (still working on it, in fact), but I now have a shiny way to play with my rendering projects!
